Attractively and comfortably furnished it is in a lovely rural location yet within a very short distance of the historic city of Norwich. In a central position for exploring some of Norfolk's finest attractions, guests at Swannington can enjoy some excellent golf at Weston Park and Barnham Broom, and walking and cycling paths, such as the Marriott's Way, the Bure Valley and Weavers Way. The village is ten miles between historic Norwich and the bustling seaside resort of Great Yarmouth, which offers a lovely sandy beach as well as a traditional seaside atmosphere. The coastal village of Stiffkey is set in An Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and has one of the richest salt marshes for wildlife in the country, providing excellent opportunities for both ornithology and walking. The sandy beaches at Holkham and Wells are just four miles along the coast and sailing is available at nearby Morston and Blakeney.
