You will be ideally placed for touring both Cornwall and Devon and days out can include trips Bodmin Moor The Eden Project The Lost Gardens of Heligan and Plymouth with its National Marine Aquarium and array of bars shops and restaurants. The pretty fishing villages of Polperro and Looe are also within an easy drive and well worth a visit while Padstow is only an hour s drive to the North. Outdoors enthusiasts can also enjoy some fine walks close by including one along the River Lynher below the Iron Age hill fort at Cadsonbury and another by the River Tamar at Cotehele which is one of the loveliest National Trust properties in the South West.
