Manifold Farmhouse is a quality semi-detached cottage with lovely country views, owned by the Chatsworth Estate, and close to Wirksworth. There are two four poster king-size doubles with en-suite shower rooms, a twin with en-suite shower, a further twin and an adult bunk room. There is also a bathroom with bath, basin and WC. Downstairs is a basin and WC, and a kitchen, dining room and a sitting room with open fire. Outside, the cottage has its own garden, as well as off road parking and shared use of a games room. With Chatsworth House, Alton Towers and the whole Peak District National Park close by, Manifold Farmhouse makes an ideal base for a family or friends, all year round.

The property, which is attached to the owner's fabulous home, sits in a wonderful location, surrounded by completely unspoilt countryside and the large grounds of the farm (not working!) Internally, the cottage is furnished with some lovely antiques which give a lovely warm and welcoming feel when you walk in. Rooms are spacious and very comfortable and ideal for relaxing and recharging the batteries! The property is well placed for walking, but for the more adventurous, there are a host of attractions to choose from including Blenheim Palace at Woodstock (10 miles), Oxford, (20 miles), Warwick Castle (20 miles) Stratford upon Avon (20 miles) and many other locations within the Cotswolds. As the name suggests the barn was once the hayloft of this farm, but today has been converted to provide spacious accommodation for up to seven people. Internally the cottage has been renovated to a very high standard creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere which is ideal for families and small groups. As one would expect, the cottage retains many character features including exposed walls and beams! Located on a small and quiet lane, this holiday cottage, in our opinion, is an ideal family destination.
