The cottage, which is built in traditional stone, enjoys an elevated and very peaceful position overlooking rolling countryside with nothing but trees, village roof tops and fields in the distance! The village has a weekend farm shop which sells good quality local produce. The cottage is totally detached down a quiet track with off-street parking and a wonderful private garden. Inside, the cottage really is a haven of olde England, boasting antique furniture, period beams, an open fire in the sitting room with many books and an ever popular AGA. In our opinion this cottage offers good value for money in a truly idyllic spot!Get local, organic food delivered to your door including vegetables, eggs, ice cream, yoghurt, home made bread and cakes and ready prepared home made meals! A converted barn (formerly the Coach House to the Vicarage as you'd expect!) it contains many attractive features that give it that traditional and welcoming feel. The barn is set in the grounds of one of the finest houses in this village, and within one of the most 'sort-after' Cotswolds villages - Swinbrook. Within walking distance is the popular and highly regarded pub - The Swan. There are many walks from your front door, including one along the Windrush Valley to Burford. This is excellent location and excellent cottage ideal for two or even four with the extra beds available.
