Powys Castle and Gardens and Montgomery Canal are only 9 miles away and the Snowdonia National Park and coast are all within an hour s drive. Other attractions within easy reach include the West Midlands Shooting Ground Welshpool & Llanfair Light Railway Chirk Castle and Gregynog Hall. Leisure facilities: shared hot-tub and sauna on site available for guests to use. Pretty lake-side setting with garden furniture available for guests to enjoy and perfect for a picnic. Today it is set on a working stud surrounded by 43 acres of open Wye Valley farmland and provides a relaxing cottage destination ideal for recharging the batteries while still being within comfortable distance of the western Cotswolds, the Wye Valley and Forest of Dean. Inside the holiday cottage, the open plan design creates spacious, light and airy accommodation that has been well furnished and equipped.
