Accommodation overview: Just five minutes drive from the Eden Project and the South West Coast Path at Charlestown, this newly refurbished quaint little cottage is set in the peaceful village of Tregrehan Mills opposite the local playing field with views to farmland beyond.  Attached to the owners own granite house, the cottage is small but comfortable and benefits from double glazing and oil central heating, well situated and within easy reach by car of a number of attractive beaches and picturesque harbours

The front door opens directly into a pleasantly light sitting/dining room with natural exposed stonework on one wall, a two seater settee
, stove effect electric heater and small dining suite.  At the rear, a glazed door leads into a bright, fully fitted kitchen with a door opening to a private and sheltered suntrap patio garden

Carpeted stairs go up from the sitting room to a gallery bedroom with a double bed set under the sloping ceiling and views of the countryside. To complete the accommodation, there is an en-suite bathroom W.C. with wash basin, heated towel rail and hand shower fitment to the bath.  The owner will provide a washing / drying service on request and there is off road parking for one car

It is an easy walk to the Britannia Inn, half a mile, where they serve food and have a large pub garden, and there is a post office store in Bethel about one mile away.  For a wider selection of amenities, St Austell, 2 miles, has a range of shops, pubs, supermarkets, a leisure centre and cinema.  The Eden Project is a 30 minute walk or 5 minutes by car or alternatively there is a local bus service that operates from the village to the Eden Project, St Austell and Newquay

The property is within a 10 minute drive of several beaches including Porthpean, Par Sands and Polkerris and there are various golf courses nearby, the nearest at Carlyon Bay, 2.5 miles.  Lanhydrock House and the Lost Gardens of Heligan are within a 20 minute drive, as are the harbour villages of Charlestown, Fowey and Mevagissey.  The immediate area abounds with delightful walks and angling is readily available close by. Accommodation overview: Wick Court, is like nothing else we have ever seen, in terms of a holiday property! This handsome and unique building is situated at the end of a mile long lane, tucked within a bend of the River Severn, has its own moat and is surrounded by 140 acres of stunning English countryside. It is believed that the Court has a history dating back to c1480, but of particular interest is the fact that there was a Royal visitor, Queen Elizabeth I, who stayed here when she was forced to leave nearby Berkeley Castle. Today the property is run as a charity (Farms for City Children) providing children with the opportunity to 'learn about where food comes from, the importance of caring for animals and the land  and the value of working co-operatively as a team.' this comfortable,light and spacious family property is ideal for either a relaxing break at any time of the year or as a base for exploring the north coast with a wealth of sandy beaches and coastal walks nearby. 

Approached by a long and narrow unmade lane and gated gravel driveway with parking for at least 3 cars, a sloping path and a series of steps lead down to the front door which opens to a useful entrance porch.  An inner door leads directly into the bright and sunny kitchen area leading through to the adjacent dining room with a natural wood floor and views of the garden and countryside beyond.

A central hallway gives access to a sitting room with a high ceiling and comfortable lounge seating facing the fireplace and French windows open to a lovely conservatory with casual seating and tranquil views over the mature garden.  There are three pleasant bedrooms: a spacious master bedroom with a double bed, a smaller double bedroom and a single bedded room.  A bathroom W.C. with hand basin, heated towel rail and shower over the bath and an additional cloakroom W.C. completes the accommodation. 

The extensive sloping garden which surrounds Cregaminnis is ideal for older children to let off steam however toddlers, young children and pets will require supervision as there are some steep unprotected areas.  The seaside village of Perranporth is just over 1 mile away and has a wide expanse of fine golden sand popular with surfers and families alike with a selection of shops, pubs, restaurants, and surf hire facilities suitable for everyday needs.

The nearest pub is at Bolingey which can be reached via a local footpath or 1 mile by road and there are also traditional village pubs in Mithian, St Agnes and Cubert all within a 5 mile radius.  There is a golf course and riding stables close by in addition to breathtaking cliff walks ideal for birdwatching at Cligga Head.  The cathedral city of Truro is about a 15minute drive.
