Accommodation overview: PERFECT FOR A FAMILY BEACH HOLIDAY Lying just 400 yards from the picturesque beach of Mawgan Porth the farmhouse nestles along the coastline amongst the soft green hills of Cornwall. This character cottage which was formerly the old farmhouse is believed to date back around 200 years. The cottage has been completely renovated yet retains many original features such as exposed beams and an inglenook fireplace with clome oven which has been carefully preserved. This traditional cottage is positioned close to many sandy beaches along the north coast which can easily be reached via the nearby coast path. Watergate Bay is one of the closest and hosts the famous Jamie Oliver restaurant which is well worth a visit. You will also be just a few miles from the bustling seaside resort of Newquay which is famous for its Summer festivals and spectacular surfing beaches along with its many shops restaurants pubs boating lake and sports centre with a splash fun pool. Many local attractions to suit all tastes include Crealy Adventure Park Go Karting Centre Newquay Zoo Blue Reef Aquarium and much more. The property is 3 miles from the Atlantic Highway giving access to popular attractions including The Big Sheep The Milky Way and Dartington Crystal. The popular market towns of Bideford and Torrington with their famous pannier markets are also close by offering good pubs shops and restaurants. The villages of Monkleigh Buckland Brewer and Littleham are a short drive away and all offer good village pubs.
