Accommodation overview: Wren Cottage is located in the pretty village of Aislaby commanding an elevated position on the northern side of the Esk Valley in the North York Moors National Park with Whitby just three miles away. The coastal resorts of Staithes, Runswick Bay, Sandsend and Robin Hoods Bay are all within easy reach and are all worth a visit. Whitby with its famous Fish and Chips, quaint gift shops and tearooms, cobbled streets and stunning Abbey is not to be missed. The North York Moors steam train can be boarded at Whitby on route to the market town of Pickering stopping at Grosmont and Goathland (alias Aidensfield in the TV series Heartbeat).
