The small village of Stow is set amidst the rolling Lammermuir Hills just off the historic Borders route 25 miles south of Edinburgh. Lauder 5 miles has good pubs/places to eat out an hotel and a popular café/gallery. The main Border town of Galashiels 7 miles has excellent amenities including a wide range of shopping and leisure facilities. The Border Abbey sites of Melrose Kelso and Jedburgh and the lovely towns of Selkirk and Peebles are all within easy reach. Access to the Southern Upland and St Cuthbert Ways and a regular bus service into Edinburgh make the cottage a perfect base to enjoy both the beautiful Scottish Borders and city of Edinburgh. The accommodation is over two levels and offers TWO bedrooms: 1 king-size and seating area looking over the garden and 1 single with combed ceiling. Bathroom: bath with hand-held shower.
