Okehampton is a hotspot for walking in the Dartmoor National Park as it is the central point for almost all of the many marked trails and walkways the Dartmoor Way the Tarka Trail the Two Moors Way and the new cycle path The Granite way is only a 20 minute walk from the properties (bike hire can be arranged just 0.5 miles away). You will be perfectly positioned for touring both Devon and Cornwall with easy access to the A30 being just a stone s throw away. You will have a choice of sandy beaches to the North and South as well as attractions to suit all tastes including Meldon Reservoir for walks and fishing Roadford Reservoir with fishing and water sports National Trust properties The Eden Project (60 minute drive) and many more. Okehampton is just a mile s drive with its quirky arts and craft and general shops.
