Inveraray Castle and jail make an interesting day out or a visit to the well known archaeological Kilmartin House Museum. Activities for all ages include golf pony trekking cycle hire fishing and ferry trips to the islands. An excellent choice for touring south to the Mull of Kintyre north towards Oban or into the quiet hinterland of west coast Argyll.
