The country park is on the doorstep and is home to a diverse variety of wildlife including badgers roe deer hawks and owls. Glasgow is 15 minutes away and Edinburgh 40 minutes. Cumbernauld (2 miles) has excellent facilities including an indoor swimming pool cinema shops hotels and pubs.
