Situated just two miles from the M62 makes it perfect to explore the historic city of York where you can enjoy a day at the races, or the kids can enjoy the York Dungeons and the Viking Museum. Beverley, Harrogate and Leeds are also within easy reach and are great for a little retail therapy. If its an activity holiday you are looking for why not try hand gliding at the local club or clay pigeon shooting only three miles away. There is also a play area for children five minutes away.
