Old Thatch dates from the 16th Century and retains many original features including ancient wood panelling, original floorboards and inglenook fireplaces. All the rooms are beautifully furnished. You can enjoy your own private heated swimming pool, with changing room and a superb wet room - all in a pretty garden with two patios. Old Thatch is a short drive to historic Rye, Camber or Winchelsea and many attractions nearby including the wonderful gardens at Great Dixter, the Kent & Sussex Steam Railway at Tenterden/Rolvenden or romantic Bodiam Castle. Garden: On one side of the cottage an enclosed garden with paved patio areas, lawn , garden furniture and barbecue. Heated swimming pool May to end September - 3' shallow end, 5' deep end. Pool room with shower.
Parking: One car on the drive and one outside the garage (not in use).
Heating: Gas central heating, open working fireplace.
Notes: The cottage has secondary double glazing but due to the close proximity of the road there is traffic noise audible in the garden.
