Customer reviews

Feedback from customers about The Old Granary includes:

"Can not suggest any improvements the most relaxing holiday and perfect location. Will be back."

Mr K, 25/11/2009 04:10

"We spent a fantastic week at The Old Granary. We woke every morning to the sound of ducks and cockerels and then took in the fantastic view from the breakfast table. Our hosts made us feel very welcome and their friendly pets came to say hello every day. A great base for visiting the coastal town of Whitby and the smaller Robin Hoods Bay. The North York Moors Railway is also well worth a trip and Roseberry Topping is just around the corner and offers great views of the surrounding (Cleveland) coast."

Mr H, 13/07/2009 04:03

"We found The Old Granary a charming cosy cottage and the hosts were friendly and helpful. We woke up every morning to the sound of ducks and cockerels and sat to breakfast with stunning views over the Moors. It is ideally located for trips to York Whitby and Robin Hood's Bay. The North York Moors Railway is well worth a visit and Roseberry Topping is just around the corner and offers great views and walks."

Mr H, 12/07/2009 00:00

"This is an excellent park with beautiful views. If you want a quiet holiday in order to 'chill-out' it is ideal but is also perfect for walkers. This lovely spot seems miles from civilisation in the National Park but is in fact a convenient distance from the pretty village of Castleton where there is everything you need. Watch out for wandering sheep in the street!"

MRS W, 10/07/2009 09:19

"For a get-away-from-it-all holiday this cottage is ideal within easy reach of the coast but away from the crowds. This cottage was spotless comfortable and welcoming. We would be happy to recommend it to anybody!!!!!"

Mr F, 06/06/2009 04:04
