An ideal location for those looking for a quiet retreat but with easy access to the town centre Southwold Central - The properties located in central Southwold are all within minutes of the market place, with the elegant Swan Hotel, an excellent range of small shops including a greengrocers with fresh local produce, family butcher and delicatessen. The upper promenade is ideal for a peaceful stroll at any time of the year and provides quick access to the beach and of course, the lighthouse in the town is a good landmark. There is also easy access to the common and a nearby footpath takes you down to the harbour with the foot ferry to Walberswick (summer only). Don't forget that the beach is never very far away! Well Cottage has been tastefully furnished with carefree holidays in mind. It has frontage to the road that only serves the North Green properties and the carefully tended green. Therefore the location is ideal for those looking for a quieter location but with easy access to all the town amenities. Shops: 200 yards Pub: 100 yards.
