Accommodation overview: BEAUTIFUL THATCHED COTTAGE IN THE HEART OF THE TEST VALLEY This restored detached cottage sits peacefully within the grounds of the owner s property and is a couple of miles from the village of Awbridge. The cottage is situated in rural Hampshire found in the heart of the picturesque Test Valley 2 miles from the vibrant market town of Romsey with the ancient cathedral cities of Salisbury and Winchester both approximately 14 miles away. The village is situated on the Test Way which passes by many pretty villages historic churches and country houses. Nearby Romsey offers visitors a fine selection of shops and restaurants Romsey Abbey or the home of the Mountbatten family at Broadlands. The National Trust s Mottisfont Abbey is well worth a day out. Alternatively take the short drive to the New Forest ideal for keen walkers and cyclists. The accommodation offers TWO bedrooms: 1 double and 1 twin. Bathroom: with shower over bath and WC. Lounge: with TV DVD iPod dock and woodburner. Dining room. Kitchen: well-equipped with electric hob double oven dishwasher fridge/freezer washing machine and microwave. Outside: enclosed garden with patio area with seating and BBQ. Accommodation overview: Somerford Cottage is a quintessential English country cottage set in the heart of a beautiful and classic Cotswold village, itself located in the southern Cotswolds. The property, which has a history dating back hundreds of years, was once part of the village's Manor House, offers lovely large rooms throughout, all presented in an attractive and stylish fashion, with careful attention given to mixing contemporary furniture with traditional cottage features. Of particular appeal is the spacious living area, which is light, airy and inviting. As one would expect with a property of such history there are delightful, mature gardens, which customers can enjoy (see below*), in fact the owners are able to offer seasonal 'home grown produce' to customers - wonderful!! Locally, the village of Great Somerford is a thriving community with an excellent local shop and pub both within a 5 minute walk. We consider this holiday cottage as ideal for families or small groups who want to enjoy a traditional Cotswold location with good facilities nearby and good access to a wealth of local attractions. The garden is located approx 10 paces across a short gravel driveway. Parents should note that there is a pond with fish and that children should not be left unattended at the pond. We ask customers to be considerate when using the garden both for the owners and also because they are of local importance from a floral perspective. Any Day changeover, except July and August and school holidays, when changeovers must be on a Saturday. Heating and electricity included. Sorry No Pets. Children Welcome. LOCATIONGreat Somerford (part of 'The Somerfords) is a traditional village situated in the southern Cotswolds, deep in the heart of Wiltshire's Clay Vale, sandwiched between the limestone belt of the Cotswolds and the chalklands of the Malborough Downs. Amongst a few 'claims to fame' is the fact that the village is believed to have the country's oldest allotment with notes of a private growing dating back to 1809! Nearby is the market town of Malmesbury, which has a beautiful church, with Tetbury. 15 mins drive, an antique collectors heaven a little further away. Westonbirt Arboretum, with its amazing walks and forests is within 2o minutes drive. Bath, in particular, is a convenient drive away as are a wide variety of Cotswold attractions and attractive villages.

Ingleside is a large detached cottage in the hamlet of Adsett on the outskirts of the Royal Forest of Dean near to Gloucester. With six bedrooms comprising three twins, two doubles (one with an ensuite) and a family room (also with an ensuite) and a family bathroom, this cottage can sleep up to fourteen people. The rest of the cottage is made up of a fitted kitchen with a dining area, a dining room leading to a snug, a sun room, a sitting room with a woodburning stove and a downstairs shower. Outside the cottage is off road parking for five cars, a covered bike store, a games room and a large enclosed garden with a patio, decked area, outdoor furniture and a BBQ.

The Old Stables is a luxury holiday cottage in Wiltshire. This country holiday rental is a detached, stone built converted barn in about an acre of ground within the village of Gastard. The property has a private drive with electric gates and has ample parking. The grounds are lined with trees. There is a natural pond to the side of the property; this area is not for guest use and is fenced and safe for children.
There is plenty to see and do in this beautiful area of Wiltshire. The village of Gastard has a family-friendly pub which serves food and is just a five minute walk away. The historic town of Corsham, where peacocks wander freely through the streets, has a fantastic selection of shops, pubs and restaurants only 1.5 miles away.

Voted England's prettiest village, Castle Combe in the Cotswolds is the perfect destination should you wish to relax, walk and enjoy the slow pace of country life and yet it is only a short drive from the cosmopolitan cities of Bath and Bristol, each offering a fantastic array of shops, restaurants, theatres and bars.
This historic property, known as the Gates, is set in the very heart of the idyllic and popular village of Castle Combe. Little has changed since the 15th century with no street lights or TV aerials to detract from the village's ancient beauty. All the buildings are listed and nestled in the wooded Cotswold valley. The atmosphere is absolutely breathtaking.
The position of the Gates could not be better; opposite the centrepiece of the village, the Medieval Market Cross. The property is positioned on the edge of the village churchyard with its attractive clock tower. Indeed, the gable wall in the property features a Gothic window originally from the church. Some parts of the house date back to Medieval times and most of the roof timbers are over 400 years old. In 2003 this holiday retreat was sadly devastated by fire but the building has been beautifully and sympathetically restored retaining all the character of the original structure yet offering attractive accommodation with excellent facilities.
