There is also a ground floor cloakroom with basin and WC, while the open plan living area includes a fitted kitchen, dining area and sitting area with woodburning stove and double sofa bed. Nearby Hornsea offers a good variety of individual shops tea rooms and restaurants whilst the nearby seaside towns of Bridlington and Filey boast long sandy beaches and numerous resort attractions. The Deep Submarium at Hull Sledmere House and Burton Constable Hall are within 20 miles whilst the shops cathedral and museum of historic York the resort town of Scarborough and the North Yorks Moors Steam Railway at Pickering are within an hour s drive. The cottages offer peace and tranquillity of surrounding countryside, and are ideally positioned to explore the Yorkshire Wolds, North York Moors and the East Coast. There is ample walking throughout the Estate for leisurely walkers or keen ramblers to enjoy this unspoilt beautiful part of the world on the edge of the Wolds Way. All the rooms are on ground floor level with a ramped access to the rear of the property making it suitable for wheelchair use. If you would like to travel slightly further, the medieval town of Beverley with its Minster and racecourse are only a fifteen minute drive away. The Yorkshire Heritage Coast and the historic city of York are also within easy reach and are well worth a visit.
