Accommodation overview: A warm Highland welcome awaits visitors to this small group of detached timber chalets set in landscaped gardens on the banks of the River Glass. This is a quiet and very scenic location in the heart of some of the most spectacular scenery in the Highlands. Glen Affric is one of the most majestic glens leading out of the village of Cannich, which is 1/2 mile from the park with village store and pub/hotel. This is an ideal situation for touring the north and west Highlands, Loch Ness is only a short drive and there are numerous beauty spots and forestry walks/ trails to be enjoyed. The area is well known for its sporting activities which include climbing, stalking, fishing, pony trekking, walking and cycling. For less strenuous activities, this is a popular spot for bird watching, photography and painting. This unique habitat of glens, lochs and Ancient Caledonian Pine Forests is home to many rare species including pine marten, otters, red squirrels, buzzards and the majestic golden eagle. The chalets are surrounded by safe grassed areas for playing and there is a barbecue area, childrens adventure playground and mountain bike hire. There is also a games room with pool table, table tennis, juke box and selection of books and games, internet and e-mail facilities.
The chalets offer well-presented, spacious accommodation and are well- insulated and heated for all year round comfort. Private parking adjacent to each chalet. Large laundry room available with coin operated machines and Payphone.
