In an area of farmland bordered by the pretty country towns of Alyth Blairgowrie and Cupar Angus 4 miles away. The towns all boast excellent facilities ranging from quaint individual boutiques to fine dining in award winning restaurants to traditional tea and coffee shops. Strathmore is a lush ten mile wide valley which runs north-east dividing the fertile Lowlands from the wild and majestic Highlands. The local country byways are perfect for quiet walks or cycling and this is the centre of fruit farming with delicious produce widely available. This area is a paradise for golfing angling (fishing permits available locally at 20 per day) field sports and ornithology. It also offers an excellent touring base to the mountains lochs and glens of Perthshire and Angus as well as the beautiful coastline with clean sandy beaches and picturesque fishing villages. The famous Gleneagles Golf Resort and Spa is only an hour s drive away. Scone and Glamis Palace make an enjoyable day out. Leisure facilities: tennis court (rackets and balls provided) and 2 bicycles are available.
