Accommodation overview: Perfect for an 'away-from-it-all' break, this unique property adjoins a historic 16th century castle on a 1300 acre estate. The sympathetic conversion provides warm, comfortable and unpretentious accommodation with many original features such as stone flag floors, stone windowsills and wooden shutters. All accommodation is on the ground floor. On the edge of the Highlands, the moors, woods and wetlands of the estate are home to an amazing diversity of wildlife including the largest beaver colony in Britain, wild boar, deer and birds. Guests are welcome to explore and this is a paradise for zoologists, botanists, ornithologists and photographers. Sheltered lawns, outdoor furniture, barbecue and parking are adjacent to the property. Final access is by 1/2 mile of unsurfaced private road.
4 miles along a country road, the little town of Alyth has 3 golf courses as well as good shops and inns and Perth and Dundee are less than an hour's drive. For walkers the renowned Cateran Trail passes through the estate and quiet roads lead into the magnificent scenery of the Perthshire and Angus glens. There is good angling nearby and the Glenshee Ski Area is less than an hour away.

Accommodation overview: In a very peaceful location overlooking the magnificent Braes O'Balquhidder in Scotland's first National Park, these six excellent cottages are situated in the grounds of the Kingshouse Hotel, 150 metres from the main road. This is the heart of Rob Roy country, at the foot of the Strathyre Forest. The hotel is family run and all facilities are available to cottage guests including two bars serving bar meals. Fishing permits for numerous lochs and rivers can be arranged at the hotel, as can other sporting activities, whilst the mountains in the area provide ample scope for hillwalking and climbing. Watersports, including ski-ing, sailing, parascending and windsurfing can be enjoyed at Lochearnhead (3 miles). There are 10 golf courses within easy reach. This is also an excellent centre for touring, within an hour's drive of Glasgow, Edinburgh, Perth, Oban, Fort William and Loch Lomond. Shops 2 miles.

Accommodation overview: Rovers Den is a charming property located in the heart of Perthshire, on the outskirts of the beautiful city of Perth. The cottage occupies a wonderful position with a private garden overlooking open farmland, the delightful River Earn and the Moncrieffe Hills. The property has been newly re-furbished and is extremely well presented. The property has a bright and airy open plan layout with the main oak wood floor living space on the ground floor and a carpeted gallery bedroom accessed via a spiral staircase. The light-filled gallery bedroom is a joy but it does come with fully fitted black-out blinds to prevent the early morning sun spoiling that all important holiday lie-in!
