The property is ideally situated centrally for many attractions the pretty harbour town of Aberaeron with beaches stretching along Cardigan Bay and restaurants are 6 miles away not forgetting the famous Honey Ice Cream. New Quay with boat trips to see dolphins and seals (nature s participants permitting) is 8 miles away. For fishing enthusiasts there are fishing lakes a short drive away and further afield Aberystwyth is the gateway for various excursions whether this is inland to the mountains or continue along the renowned coastal path of Wales. The accommodation is on one floor with an abundance of stone walls and exposed beams and has TWO bedrooms: 1 double with distant sea views and 1 single. Shower room: with WC. Plas Bach is located in the picturesque village of Aberporth, Cardigan Bay and boasts two award winning, Blue Flag, sandy beaches. These are flanked by rocks and rock pools ideal for adventuring with the children, crabbing and swimming. Lifeguards patrol the beaches during the summer season, making the water safer for all. There is also a slipway for launching small boats. Aberporth is an ideal base for walkers with coastal and inland walks of varying lengths - maps and guides are available at the house. Dolphins and seals are often spotted from the beach and from the viewing platform situated between the beaches.
The village has a range of facilities, a restaurant, two pubs (both serving food), two beach cafes, a Chinese take-away and chip shop, a small supermarket with post office, launderette and chemist. Cardigan Town is five-miles away and has a full range of shops including a number of supermarkets, a cinema and theatre, leisure centre with pool and a skateboard park. Dry slope skiing, tobogganing, snowboarding, horse riding and many other activities for all ages are available at Llangrannog Urdd Centre nearby.
