Cors Caron is nearby a raised peat bog covering over 2000 acres with a wide variety of wildlife. The area has numerous rivers criss crossing the valleys which makes it popular for fishing both inland and sea fishing with Aberystwyth 19 miles away. The famous Red Kites are fed locally.
