A good selection of craft shops in the village sell the famous locally-made Welsh love spoons and rock. Horse-drawn boat rides can be enjoyed on the canal here as well as trips on the steam railway.
Beddgelert is an enchanting village with beautiful riverside walks amidst majestic mountain scenery, and for more walking opportunities in breathtaking landcapes, Llanberis is within easy driving distance. Nestling at the foot of Mount Snowdon, the town also offers a slate museum, Llanberis Lake Railway, the Mountain Railway and the fascinating and informative Electric Mountain.
