Within an hour s drive you can reach the Berwick-upon-Tweed Alnwick Newcastle numerous National Trust properties and wildlife centres and various other lovely Northumberland villages and towns. You can even head to Edinburgh for the day. Other attractions include Farne Islands Hadrian s Wall Alnwick and Dunstaburgh Castles and horse riding on the beach.
