Accommodation overview: These two attractive single storey semi-detached cottages have been created from an old steading and are situated in 1/2 acre of grassed grounds. There are wonderful views over the Laigh of Moray and the cottages share a large grassed garden with patio and garden chairs, adjacent to the owner's holiday home. The cottage interiors are well-maintained with comfortable homely furnishings. There are many National Trust Properties in the area, ancient fishing villages along the coast and the famous Whisky Trail. Fishing is readily available and there are excellent golf courses to choose from. The village of Hopeman with its lovely beaches, shops and pub, is 2 miles away.

The Angus Glens are renowned for very attractive scenery and picturesque beauty spots with opportunities to enjoy walking, nature trails, fishing, bird-watching and pony trekking. The owner can arrange supervised horse-riding (at an extra charge) with the option of tuition in an all-weather arena. There are numerous golf courses to choose from locally, quaint coastal villages to explore, with boat hire and water sports available, and easy access to the cities of Aberdeen, Dundee and Perth. The cottage is in a truly delightful setting just across the road from the waters of the Moray Firth, where dolphins play and fishing boats come and go. Portessie is adjacent to the bustling deep sea fishing port of Buckie which has excellent facilities and is one of a string of picturesque old fishing villages, each with its own character and each worth visiting. Accommodation overview: Cosy Cottage is situated in a quiet backwater in the heart of the sea town area of Cullen. Originally a fishermans cottage, built at the height of the 19th century fishing boom, it has now been restored and converted to provide attractive and modern accommodation. Although on two floors, the main rooms are all on the ground floor. A steep staircase leads up to two small bedrooms. Previously used by the fisher folk to dry their nets, this floor has now been refurbished with two pretty single bedrooms; ideal for children, as height is restricted.
