There are large enclosed grounds with lawns and a furnished patio area to make the most of this outstanding location. Furnished in a comfortable old-fashioned manner, the cottage is warm and welcoming with lovely personal touches. The living area is best suited to a maximum of four adults although there is sleeping accommodation for six persons. As the double bedroom and bathroom are on the ground floor, the property may suit some guests with limited mobility.
In an area of outstanding natural beauty at the junction of four scenic glens, Cannich is the ideal base for walking, climbing, bird watching, angling or just enjoying the tranquillity of the magnificent landscape. Village shop, pub and restaurant with further facilities 12 miles away at Drumnadrochit or 30 miles away in Inverness. Nearby Loch Ness offers water sports and loch cruises.

Day trips can include Castle Urquhart and the bustling village of Drumnadrochit on the shores of Loch Ness as well as the city of Inverness which has excellent retail and leisure facilities.

An ideal base for exploring the Central Highlands, the picturesque fishing villages and beaches of the Moray Firth or the spectacular scenery of Loch Ness and the Great Glen. Nethy Bridge has good local shops and hotels while Aviemore, Grantown-on-Spey and Inverness are all nearby.
