The East Wing is a spacious wing of a beautifully restored Jacobean manor house set in 6 acres of landscaped gardens just 4 miles from the historic town of Ross-on-Wye in Herefordshire. Set out over three floors and with two double bedrooms with ensuite facilities and two twin rooms (one with a pull out bed), this cottage can sleep up to nine people. The cottage also contains a ground floor shower room and a second floor family bathroom. On the ground floor is a fitted kitchen with an AGA, a dining room and a sitting room with an open fire, whilst on the second floor there is an additional kitchenette. Outside the cottage is off road parking for 4 cars and shared use of 6 acres of gardens. Ideally situated as a perfect gateway to the Royal Forest of Dean and the Wye Valley this cottage offers a quiet and quirky retreat. The Forest of Dean is well known for its walks and outdoor activities such as the Sculpture Trail Go Ape or enjoy the history of the Dean Heritage Centre or perhaps spend a day by the river at Symonds Yat looking for the nesting Peregrine Falcons or viewing the magnificent Tintern Abbey ruins 30 minute drive away.
