There is a ground floor double, three first floor doubles, and two family bedrooms, each with a double and single bed. There is also a ground floor cloakroom with basin and WC, a fitted kitchen, dining room and sitting room each with electric fires and beamed ceilings, a snug, and a conservatory. Outside there is off road parking for six cars, a front patio area with nice views, and furniture, and also a rear lawned garden, on a steep slope. Accommodation overview: Lower Moor Lodge, Hay on Wye is a lovely, cosy cottage located conveniently for this historic and delightful literary town. The cottage, which is over 200 years old and was once the lodge to the Lower Moor Manor, has a wealth of period features, including original flagstone and wooden flooring and wood burning stove. The owners have cleverly mixed old and new to make it a very charming home. There is a lovely garden and super views to the south. The property is located just 15 mins level walk from Hay centre with its shops, cafes and restaurants. With three double bedrooms (two with en-suite facilities), two twin rooms (one with en-suite) and two family rooms (one with en-suite) as well as a family bathroom in the main house and a further 3 double rooms (1 with en-suite and two sharing a "Jack & Jill" en-suite shower room), and 1 twin with en-suite in the annexe, this cottage can sleep twenty four people in comfort and style. The main house kitchen boasts an AGA, a pantry and a dining area, whilst the rest of the main house accommodation is comprised of a dining room, a sun room and three sitting rooms, one of which has a woodburner. Guests also have access to a games room with pool table, and an indoor heated swimming pool with sauna, Jacuzzi, gym & shower area. Outside the cottage is off road parking for seven cars and private use of a large enclosed mature garden with trampoline and a swing, all with garden furniture, plus a built-in BBQ with seating area and use of an orchard. With so many fantastic facilities on site, you may never want to leave the grounds, however The Croft is also ideally placed to explore the glorious Herefordshire countryside as well as the towns of Hay on Wye and Hereford.

Accommodation overview: Whites Farm Barn is absolutely stunning and probably one of the best barn conversions we have seen. Set deep within the countryside the property offers a real countryside experience and yet is within a convenient distance of one of the regions most delightful market towns - Ledbury. Internally the barn is presented in a welcoming and attractive open plan style, with large open spaces displaying the oak beams and original 'cross windows'. These period features mix beautifully with some contemporary touches such as underfloor heating. There is also the added benefit of a ground floor bedroom and bathroom. Externally the barn has an enclosed garden to the front and enjoys a lovely location situated down a quite lane within a little hamlet. The owner provides a super welcome basket (and maybe a little homemade Perry!!) and informs us that you can now order Waitrose deliveries to your door. This is an excellent choice for those who like quality, space and something a little historic.
