The Border Abbey sites of Melrose Kelso and Jedburgh and the lovely towns of Selkirk and Peebles are all within easy reach. Access to the Southern Upland and St Cuthbert Ways and a regular bus service into Edinburgh make the cottage a perfect base to enjoy both the beautiful Scottish Borders and city of Edinburgh.
