Accommodation overview: A PEACEFUL OLD WATERMILL IN A SECLUDED SETTING Located near the pretty Roman Legionary fortress of Caerleon with strong connection to the site of King Arthur s Camelot this charming stone-built former mill nestles in a tranquil valley near the River Usk surrounded by a working sheep farm. Superb footpaths and walks from the property. A short drive away is the local town of Caerleon which has a selection of shops cafés and restaurants. Ideally located to explore the stunning Usk and Wye Valleys and close to Cardiff the culture rich capital city of Wales and equally Bristol. Excellent road links mean you are well placed to explore Cardiff the Forest of Dean and beautiful Brecon Beacons. Why not explore local history at Caerleon Roman Museum or further afield visit St Fagan s National History Museum of Wales or The Big Pit. Teal Cottage is one of two recently refurbished cottages; Mulberry Cottage accommodating two guests is also in our brochure. They were originally used for corn threshing and a pig sty. The properties are set within stunning countryside close to the ancient market town Llandeilo, which has an interesting selection of individual shops, galleries and eateries.
They are within easy reach of the breath-taking scenery of the Brecon Beacons National Park, the beaches of West Wales and the splendid gardens of the Towy valley. The National Botanic Gardens of Wales, with its great glasshouse, and Aberglasney Gardens are just minutes away. The bustling town of Carmarthen and the city of Swansea are both easily reached by car.

For nature lovers, the area abounds with wildlife, with red kites regularly seen from the barns.The Gower Peninsular has some wonderful beaches with great surfing, including Three Cliffs Bay which is less than 25 miles away.
