Accommodation overview: Tucked away in beautiful peaceful surroundings on a quiet single track road, Spring Cottage is the perfect spot for a relaxing holiday and for exploring Loch Linnhe, the nearby island of Lismore, the local area and further afield. The cottage is a well used and favourite holiday home, the sunny bright room on one level are simple, informal and comfortable. The large tranquil garden slopes down over rough ground to the shore. Guests can enjoy the wonderful views across the water from the deck beside the shore, the sheltered bay is ideal for children. Deer, seals, otters, pine martin and a huge variety of birds including the sea eagle have been seen around the cottage. Spring cottage is 1.5 miles frin picturesque Port Appin village with its well stocked shop, craft shop and pub and hotel serving excellent locally caught seafood. The area is a wlkers, cyclers and kayakers paradise. Enjoy low level walks locally or the challenge of Glencoe, hire bikes, take the ferry and explore Lismore Island or try some mountain biking in the forests, launching your kayak from the shoreline. Horse riding, fishing and boating are all available nearby. Oban, Mull, Iona, Inverary, Fort William and Mallaig are all within easy reach.

Accommodation overview: Loch Riddon House is an impressive detached property set on the hillside overlooking Loch Riddon on the Cowal Peninsula. The main living space on the ground floor is open plan with oak floors. The large, spacious lounge area is the heart to this property, a place for everyone to gather. With a wonderful open fire and a stunning floor to ceiling feature window, this provides the ideal location to relax and enjoy the view, perhaps even see birds of prey soaring high in the sky or red deer wandering through the garden. At one end of the lounge is a reading room and at the opposite end is the dining room, both have glazed double doors which can be closed, if required. These rooms all have a stunning south facing aspect looking out over the countryside to Loch Riddon and the hills beyond. Off the dining room is a fully fitted, well equipped kitchen which has a large range cooker and a belfast sink. From the first floor, most of the bedrooms have views over the sea loch. This property has lots of space for all the family to spread out and enjoy their holiday. The large, approximately three acres, grassy garden is fully enclosed and provides great freedom for children to play.
