Accommodation overview: This beautifully renovated attached byre sits within 8 acres of farmland and is half a mile off the main road down a farm track, where the owners run a small boarding kennels. The thick original stone walls, high beamed ceiling and stable door give character and the tasteful fixtures and decoration give a fresh, modern, light and airy feeling to the property. The Byre is heated with under floor heating, with tiled floors throughout. The property is ideal for couples who enjoy the countryside and it is an idyllic honeymooners retreat. The Byre has its own small private enclosed garden, with outdoor seating. You also have use of the owners large grassy garden and there is a small loch in front of the property. Accommodation overview: Treetops is a cosy first floor flat located on the charming Isle of Bute. The island nestles just off the Cowal peninsula and can be accessed by ferry from Wemyss Bay or Colintraive. Treetops enjoys an elevated position overlooking the village of Ardbeg which sits between Port Bannatyne and Rothesay. From the lounge window the view is eastward over the sea, with a fantastic panorama of the Firth of Clyde, over to the Cowal hills and Wemyss Bay. The small galley kitchen is well equipped. Accommodation overview: The Old Post Office is a lovely detached property located in the heart of the small village of Furnace. The village sits on the side of Loch Fyne, a long, deep sea loch renowned for its fantastic wealth of sea-life. It is named after the old Victorian furnace which is now a ruin and managed by Historic Scotland. The Old Post Office is over 250 years old and is a lovely stone built property with thick walls. Set on the edge of the Loch Lomond & Trossachs National Park, the cottage is one of four situated within a small holiday development with ample outdoor activities available. Internally, Alder is spacious, comfortable and cosy. On the ground floor there is an open plan lounge, kitchen and dining area with a vaulted pine beam ceiling and a built-in wood burning stove.
