This self-catering luxury retreat is only a few minutes' walk from the upper reaches of Dovedale and Manifold Valley in the Peak District National Park. The Royal Oak, a good eating pub, is 100 yards away. Ivy House can be booked together with Reading Room (DE005), which is adjacent and sleeps four guests. There is an interconnecting door between the two properties with low headroom.

The Reading Room is situated adjacent to Ivy House in the charming village of Wetton, in the heart of the Peak District, close to Dovedale and the Manifold Valley, and the start point for some of the most attractive walks in the National Park.

The stone cottage is an imaginative conversion of one of the original Chatsworth Estate Reading Rooms.

For accommodation for a larger party the Reading Room can either be booked with Ivy House, or booked separately. There is a connecting passage on the ground floor between the two properties, with a lockable door (with low headroom) to protect guest privacy.
