The Bure Valley Steam Railway is the county's longest narrow gauge railway running from the historic market town of Aylsham, stopping at Buxton and continuing on to end at Wroxham the Capital of the Broads. The village is well served with its two pubs; the Old Crown has a very good restaurant, a village shop with off-licence, fish and chip shop, post office and hairdressers.
