Accommodation overview: COSY COTTAGE IN PEACEFUL VILLAGE LOCATION This delightful quaint cottage formerly the village shop and post office is positioned in the centre of the picturesque Polden Hills in the village of Moorlinch. The village itself has a 12th century church and craft centre which offers pottery and glass blowing as well as a family pub serving good food. You will be well placed to explore the area including Glastonbury with its Tor Abbey Rural Life Museum and the Chalice Well Clarks retail village in Street Cheddar Gorge and Wells the smallest city in England with its wonderful cathedral. The Quantock hills are less than an hour s drive away and a bit further afield is the Exmoor National Park. Also within an hour s drive is the Roman City of Bath with convenient park and ride. There are several sandy and dramatic coastal beaches to the north is Burnham-on-Sea and Weston-Super-Mare and on the south coast Lyme Regis Sidmouth and Torquay. On the Bridgwater/Street/Glastonbury bus route and the perfect place from which to cycle walk on Sedgemoor and for fishing or bird watching from nature reserve hides.
