The Victorian seaside town of Saltburn is only a short drive away, with its golden sandy beach and lovely promenade, ideal for a stroll on a warm summer evening. The North Yorkshire Moors steam train is a great day for everyone, travelling from Whitby to the market town of Pickering stopping at Grosmont and Goathland (also known as Heartbeat Country) along the way.
