Accommodation overview: The Tack Room offers light, spacious accommodation and has the added benefit of being single storey with level access. Wangford is only three miles from the beaches and from Southwold town centre, yet within easy access of the A12 and the many other attractions of the Heritage Coast. There is a good village shop, a farm shop and the popular Angel Inn, with restaurant serving good local food, much recommended by past guests. Hillside Farm Barns are a group of four thoughtfully converted properties situated around a central courtyard. The owners have taken pride in their conversion and have furnished to a high standard. The properties offer light, spacious accommodation and have the added benefit of being single storey with level access so would be ideal for those less able. Accommodation overview: An interesting period property that has been tastefully modernised, yet still retaining all its original character. Eastbridge is well off the beaten track and known as the back way into Minsmere and a favoured location of wildlife enthusiasts and ramblers. The exceptionally unspoilt countryside certainly earns a mention as one of Suffolk's best-kept secrets. Minsmere Visitor Centre is one and a half miles away and the beach is also one and a half miles (on foot). The hamlet is six miles from Aldeburgh and two miles from Leiston. Accommodation overview: Quietly situated cottage a few minutes walk from the beach. Much of the Seaside resort of Felixstowe is only about 100 years old. This busy town standing at the mouth of the rivers Deben and Orwell, benefits from a four mile stretch of a sand and shingle beach a two mile paved promenade dotted with colourful beach huts and beautifully kept seafront gardens. Other than enjoying the sea views from any well placed seats along the prom, visitors can enjoy activities such as coastal walks, sailing, fishing, golf or bird watching to name but a few.
