Docklow village is within easy walking distance and it is here that you will find the village pub, the Kings Head, which offers good hospitality, real ales, and simple meals. Docklow Pools are also located within the village which offer excellent fishing, together with their own pub and restaurant.
There is easy access to attractions such as stately homes, parks and gardens as well as the historic cathedral city of Hereford and ancient market towns Ledbury and Ludlow, the latter of nationwide fame for its many high quality restaurants. The nearest town, Leominster (BR Station) 10 minutes away, offers excellent shopping facilities and Worcester (M5) can be reached in 30 minutes. The cottage is some 135 miles from London, 58 miles from Birmingham, 158 miles from Manchester, and 54 miles from Cardiff. It will take you approximately two hours 40 minutes from London by road. Train stations are located at Worcester, Hereford and Leominster. Leominster train station is some seven minutes by road.
