Accommodation overview: Tithe Barn is super retreat located within the Owlpen Barn. Although an apartment, the property has a spacious feel owing to the very high ceilings and the general open plan layout. Internally this cosy retreat has a lovely rustic charm with huge oak beams crossing the living space. It is a character split-level studio apartment set in the last bay of Owlpen's listed Barn, converted above the coach house in about 1700. With massive oak cruck beams and principal trusses, which date it to the 1450s, it has been completely renovated to the same standard and quality of Owlpen's larger cottages of this historic manor estate. Day-to-day provisions are available in Uley which is only half a mile away where there is a Post Office/village shop, one pub, a brewery and an arts centre. Botloes Cottage is a quirky and very comfortable converted barn, nestling in beautiful hilly countryside. It shares seven acres with Botloes Farm including woodland, an orchard and two ponds to explore.
Botloes Green is a small hamlet ideal for walking and cycling. It is next door to the Three Choirs Vineyard and Restaurant with direct access through the orchard from the grounds of the property. Newent (two miles) has several pubs and cafes, some with excellent food, and an Artisan Bakery.
The nearest train station is Ledbury, a 15-minute drive, which also offers a good selection of independent shops, pubs and restaurants. Within the local area are a wide range of attractions including the Malvern Hills Falconry Centre (four miles).

Moore Cottage is situated in a quiet position next to Moore House, just a two minute walk from the centre of Bourton-on-the-Water which stands on the river Windrush. Holidaymakers will have a very good choice of restaurants, pubs and shops, all within walking distance. There is also the Model Village, Motor Museum, Bird Sanctuary and Perfumery to visit. For the serious walkers there is a wide variety of choice in all directions through Upper Slaughter, Lower Slaughter, Upper Rissington and Lower Rissington.
Burford (the Gateway to the Cotswolds); Cirencester (most attractive market town since Roman times); Cheltenham (the Spa town with beautiful architecture and a racing history); Stratford-upon-Avon (the birth place of William Shakespeare); Chipping Norton and Chipping Campden (both Mediaeval market towns); and Broadway (a truly historic town with lovely shops and of course the Lygon Arms) are all within 15 miles. It is a 'listed' historic building, completely restored to provide wonderfully unique holiday cottage accommodation. There are many period features within the property, including beams and period furniture. Outside are the gigantic mill wheel and millpond - a haven for wild life.
