Sydling is rated one of the prettiest small villages in Dorset with thatched cottages, chalk streams, ducks, and a children's play area tucked off the High Street. There is also an award-winning pub, the Greyhound. Sydling is a good base for walking and biking with the Wessex Ridgeway Path running through the village. In addition there are a number of historic houses and gardens nearby to visit, plus golf courses. It is in easy reach of lovely beaches such as Ringstead Bay.
