Accommodation overview: Robbie's Barn is a high quality holiday cottage set a peaceful hamlet on the edge of the northern Cotswolds, very close to Shakespeare's Stratford upon Avon. The cottage was recently modernised and has many ECO friendly modifications incl solar panels and ground source heat pump. Internally the cottage, which is on one level (ideal for limited mobility) is very warm, welcoming and homely with some delightful touches including beautiful oak beams and a wood burning stove. Robbie's is situated in Fulready which has easy access to Stratford, along with the Cotswolds towns of Moreton in Marsh and Stow in the Wold. We loved the owners' home grown produce which you are welcome to purchase! Accommodation overview: The Stables is a superb self catering holiday cottage set in a leafy area of Stratford upon Avon called Shottery, an area best known for 'Anne Hathaway's Cottage' which is about 300 yards away. If you would like to enjoy the superb facilities (including the National Theatre) in Stratford then you really could not be more conveniently located, as everything is within walking distance. The property is a 5 star standard and has been beautifully modernised to provide spacious and light accommodation ideal for families or groups alike. Of particular appeal is the huge open plan living space which 'spills' onto the courtyard. Although this is a central location it is private and relatively peaceful and with an off street parking spot you can leave the car and stroll into town too. This lovely conversion is a 300-year old barn and is set in the grounds of a working fruit farm in Snitterfield village. The property has been lovingly restored to a very high standard and has managed to keep many of the original features, making this a dream holiday home. The living accommodation is open plan and has a well-equipped kitchen and dining area, a fabulous wooden floor and a cosy sitting area with a log effect fire. The bedroom is a stunning galleried room with low exposed beams whilst the ground floor bathroom is a luxurious haven. Outside there is a shared front garden – ideal for relaxing with a good book or a barbecue. This is a wonderful place for a romantic break any time of year.
