There is character throughout the cottage, with unusual exposed stone walls, wooden flooring and exposed beams, while the actual accommodation is well-equipped, comfortable and set in the grounds of the owner's farmhouse. The bedroom has a 5' double bed and also an option folding single, suitable for a younger child. There is also a small, private garden to the property. To the south of the Isle of Wight sits Yafford, and within this peaceful hamlet lies Pond Cottage, in the grounds of the owner's farmhouse and just a mile from the sea. The cottage is set next to an attractive large pond, and has been converted from an 18th Century barn, retaining much character including exposed beams and trusses, wooden floors and stone walls. The well-equipped kitchen has a dining area, the sitting room is cosy and comfortable and the bedrooms, one double and one twin with an additional folding bed, are set up in the eaves. There is cycling, walking and birdwatching nearby, or simply relax in the private garden.
