Steam trains of the Kent and East Sussex Railway from Tenterden and Northiam stop at the recently refurbished Bodiam station so you will be steeped in history and nostalgia here. Situated only 5 miles from Robertsbridge and just 3 miles from Rye the location couldn't be better for great days out, and the village pub - The Castle Inn - is just a short walk down the hill from the cottage annexe for good, home-cooked food if you are feeling too relaxed to cook! Shop: 2 miles Pub: 0.25 mile Coast: 13 miles
