Accommodation overview: Standing in the wonderful grounds of Romden Castle is this very welcoming converted coach house .The exceptionally quiet location is bliss - add to that the swimming pool, the tennis court and the beautiful large pond - this is the perfect place for a really great holiday. The Castle dates from the 13th Century with many later additions including the tower. Nearby are the "chocolate box" villages of Smarden and Bethersden for local shopping, pubs and it is only 4 miles to Pluckley. The popular town of Tenterden with its interesting shops, eateries and leisure centre is only seven miles and Ashford for fast trains to London/Paris and Brussels is an easy drive away.
