Ightham Mote is within walking distance through lavender fields and nearby are Chartwell, Knole, Quebec House, Stoneacre and Emmetts Garden. Bluewater Shopping Centre is 30 minutes' drive away. There are three restaurant/pubs, the Snail which is within walking distance, the Plough at Ivyhatch and the Chaser at Shipbourne, all serving very good food.
