Accommodation overview: Meadowbank Farmhouse is a remotely located farmhouse situated within the Oxfordshire Cotswolds providing very spacious self catering accommodation absolutely perfect for large groups or families. The property is surrounded by open countryside (there are some barns, nearby where the owners live!) with enclosed garden areas for customer's use to the front and rear. Inside the property has large entertaining rooms, with an excellent kitchen/diner as well as two living rooms plus an extra kitchen. There are six large bedrooms, with one on the ground floor making it ideal for any members of the party with limited mobility. A very well maintained and attractive holiday property that is very well located many of the Oxford and Cotswolds attractions. The village of Clanfield (famous for its use in the filming of Downton Abbey!) is an attractive one, with the notable benefit of two very good pubs - both within a very short distance of the holiday property. Accommodation overview: Robbie's Barn is a high quality holiday cottage set a peaceful hamlet on the edge of the northern Cotswolds, very close to Shakespeare's Stratford upon Avon. The cottage was recently modernised and has many ECO friendly modifications incl solar panels and ground source heat pump. Internally the cottage, which is on one level (ideal for limited mobility) is very warm, welcoming and homely with some delightful touches including beautiful oak beams and a wood burning stove. Robbie's is situated in Fulready which has easy access to Stratford, along with the Cotswolds towns of Moreton in Marsh and Stow in the Wold. We loved the owners' home grown produce which you are welcome to purchase! Accommodation overview: The Den, a converted barn on Shaken Oak Farm, is a wonderful holiday cottage for those who wish to get away from it all and recharge the batteries. Situated in the original Wychwood Forest - a Royal hunting ground - The Den is in a truly tranquil setting, amongst fields and woods, and yet close to Woodstock and the famous Blenheim Palace as well as Oxford. The property is well cared for by the owners and is an ideal 'bolt-hole' to relax peacefully. There are many excellent walks all around and yet you are conveniently located for a wide selection of Cotswolds locations. The local pub, The Royal Oak at Ramsden which was voted the Good Pub Guide's Country Pub of the Year 2011, is just a mile away - a delightful stroll through the woods and fields. We as well as everyone else highly recommend this pub! ACCOMMODATION: (all on one level )French windows lead into the Sitting / Dining / Kitchen area.
