Accommodation overview: Robbie's Barn is a high quality holiday cottage set a peaceful hamlet on the edge of the northern Cotswolds, very close to Shakespeare's Stratford upon Avon. The cottage was recently modernised and has many ECO friendly modifications incl solar panels and ground source heat pump. Internally the cottage, which is on one level (ideal for limited mobility) is very warm, welcoming and homely with some delightful touches including beautiful oak beams and a wood burning stove. Robbie's is situated in Fulready which has easy access to Stratford, along with the Cotswolds towns of Moreton in Marsh and Stow in the Wold. We loved the owners' home grown produce which you are welcome to purchase! Eyam, a beautiful unspoilt village set high among the moors in the north of the National Park between Bakewell and Castleton.
The village has a museum, hall, several shops and a good pub, the Miners Arms. This is prime rambling country and a hill track across Eyam Moor at the back of the village climbs to 1,200ft above sea level and offers spectacular views of Axe Edge, Maw Tor and Kinderscout.
