Accommodation overview: Charlie's Cottage is a wonderful mix of old and new and if you are looking for the quintessenital English Country Cottage you need look no further. This lovely, cosy thatched cottage, which dates back to the Civil War era of the 1650s', has so much charm inside that we simply fell in love with it when we inspected it. Situated in a very quiet location within one of the northern Cotswolds most beautiful villages - Epwell, the cottage enjoys real tranquility and yet great access to the surrounding countryside. The village pub is sure to be a real appeal to those who enjoy the idea of a 'local pint', while the adventure playground is a firm favourite with the children. Internally the owners have mixed old features with new style with imagination to create a very cosy and welcoming holiday cottage that oozes charm and appeal. Collectively the cottage has so much to offer that we see it appealing to both families as much as it will to the 'weekend breakers'. The cottage is attached the owner's home and sits within 3 acres of gardens which roll down towards the River Windrush. Internally the cottage is a spacious and charming holiday home with many character features including old timbers and exposed walls and attractive furnishings. The cottage enjoys it's own private and enclosed garden with access to the owners' gardens as well access to an indoor swimming pool and tennis court* and fishing on the river. Locally is the beautiful village which has a small hotel / pub and some tremendous walks into the countryside. Accommodation overview: Ryeworth Cottage, Kingham is an exceptional Cotswold Holiday Cottage set in one of the areas most desirable and attractive villages, roughly equi-distant between Burford and Chipping Norton. The village has everything you could want for a Cotswolds' break, including award winning pubs and a comprehensive local store. It has many excellent walks surrounding it, but perhaps of great appeal to some is the convenience of the Daylesford Organic (described in The Telegraph as 'the UK's poshest shop'!!) The cottage, which is semi detached, is a simply stunning holiday home spread across four floors with spacious rooms throughout. The large welcoming living space, plus the three bathrooms (for three bedrooms) make this a thoroughly attractive option.
