Accommodation overview: Chimney Farm Barns (Visit Britain 5 Star Gold) are three stunning barns, situated in a beautiful Nature Reserve located within the beautiful Oxfordshire Cotswolds, convenient for Oxford, Cheltenham, Burford and easy to get to and from London. Although the properties are available independently, together they offer superb accommodation for groups of 18 to 36 people. Internally, the accommodation is open plan and presented in a contemporary style with some amazing and original features. Plasma TVs, free WIFI and ipod docking stations are installed throughout. Externally, the properties enjoy over 10 acres of their own fabulous private space and tranquil countryside. The hamlet of Chimney is a magical place, an excellent holiday base to explore the area, great for a family get together (relax and re-charge the batteries), use for a group celebration or re-union.The owners have also sourced a number of local suppliers who would be able to add to the experience including catering and local food produce delivery, please ask for further details.PLEASE NOTE THAT PRICES WILL VARY ACCORDING TO THE SIZE OF YOUR PARTY AND WHETHER YOU REQUIRE TWO OR THREE BARNS (AND WHICH BARNS!!). The cottage is attached the owner's home and sits within 3 acres of gardens which roll down towards the River Windrush. Internally the cottage is a spacious and charming holiday home with many character features including old timbers and exposed walls and attractive furnishings. The cottage enjoys it's own private and enclosed garden with access to the owners' gardens as well access to an indoor swimming pool and tennis court* and fishing on the river. Locally is the beautiful village which has a small hotel / pub and some tremendous walks into the countryside. The property is presented to a very high standard (the owners own another property with Manor Cottages which is both a very high standard and also very popular with customers) with up to six bedrooms and four bathrooms available. A converted barn (formerly the Coach House to the Vicarage as you'd expect!) it contains many attractive features that give it that traditional and welcoming feel. The huge, spacious living room with a vaulted ceiling, exposed beams, cream washed walls, oak flooring and open fire set the scene perfectly, with the idyllic view towards the village church simply gorgeous. The barn is set in the grounds of one of the finest houses in this village, and within one of the most 'sort-after' Cotswolds villages - Swinbrook. Within walking distance is the popular and highly regarded pub - The Swan. There are many walks from your front door, including one along the Windrush Valley to Burford. This is excellent location and excellent cottage ideal for two or even four with the extra beds available. Jasmine Cottage is close to great walks, cycle routes and also Banbury, making it a great base for a tranquil holiday.
