The property is ideally located near to the historic and literary city of Oxford 10 miles the honey coloured stone villages of the Cotswolds and the striking walks of the Ridgeway. Within 30 minutes you have access to Blenheim Palace the stunning world heritage site which offers a fabulous day out with regular special events Cotswold Wildlife Park and the pretty town of Burford and the Bronze Age White Horse of Uffington on the Ridgeway. Other days out include Bath Swindon Outlet Designer Mall and the popular local farm shop is located a couple of miles away. The accommodation has ONE double bedroom: accessed via a steep cottage style staircase. Bathroom: on the first floor with roll-top bath with vanity unit and WC. Situated between Stow on the Wold, Chipping Norton and Burford, this is true Cotswolds Country. it is an unspoilt village with a large open green and some elegant stone and thatch cottages mostly dating from the 17th and 18th centuries. It is situated in the Evenlode valley in Oxfordshire, England and is a short drive from the more well known town of Chipping Norton. It is a thriving village with a good sense of community. As well as the pubs there is a good village store and an attractive church. The village is unique amongst Cotswold villages, because it is served by a main line railway station about a mile from the village, the mainline railway station provides regular services to London with services operated by First Great Western Link. Of particular note is the The Kingham Plough which is a quintessential Cotswold Inn and has an outstanding restaurant. According to AA Gill: "The kitchen is a serious restaurant workplace. The bar menu is as fine as any I've seen...anyone thinking of opening a local pub restaurant should come here and see the gold standard." (AA Gill writing in the Sunday Times). Otherwise nearby are Stow on the Wold and Burford, with Oxford, Stratford upon Avon and Bath all within a reasonable drive
