The cottage sleeps four people in two bedrooms - one double and one twin and there is a bathroom with bath, separate shower, basin and WC, along with a ground floor cloakroom with basin and WC. The living accommodation comprises a fitted kitchen, utility and sitting room with open fire and dining area. Outside, there is off road parking for two cars and a gravelled garden area with furniture. Guests also have shared use of the owner's heated outdoor swimming pool and tennis court. With the village pub close by, on the river, and with historic Oxford within easy reach, Dutton House makes a great base for a break in the Cotswolds.

Built in the middle of the 19th Century it is in one of the most attractive locations possible, at the brow of a hill overlooking the Windrush Valley, but within a mile of the local market town. The large south-facing garden overlooks the fields which run down to the River Windrush. Forming the substantial element within a building that once was the local school, the cottage is an excellent and characterful home set within a peaceful spot very convenient for Burford and Chipping Norton. Internally the property offers a large living area, along with many character features including exposed stone walls and woodwork and a brilliant attention to detail. Located up a little gravel track and surrounded by open fields in three directions as you can imagine there are lovely views to enjoy - particularly from your terrace area which is real sun trap. For those who want to sit and sample some quintessential English scenes you can either stroll to the village cricket pitch (a safe distance away!) or the delightful and popular Swan pub. For the more active there are excellent walks directly from your door including the Old Minster Lovell Hall (English Heritage). Set overlooking fields and surrounded by period Cotswold properties this delightful holiday cottage offers a very high standard of self catering accommodation. Internally, the owners have created a stunning home, which while contemporary it retains a wealth of period features that give a real sense of warmth and 'welcome'. The accommodation, which is set over three floors and with good size rooms throughout, has many period features through out. Including flagstone flooring, beams and mullion windows but of particular appeal is the kitchen which is, as they say, 'where the heart is': a gorgeous light room with a vaulted ceiling and Aga. When we visited the property we came away with the wow factor very much in our minds, we're confident that you'll feel just the same when you walk through the door too!
