Accommodation overview: Staddlestones Cottage is classic and traditional Grade 2 listed Cotswold cottage located in the heart of Stow on the Wold, one of the region's most popular market towns. The holiday cottage, which dates from circa 18th Century, is situated on the main high street within Stow making it literally seconds from shops, restaurants and similar. Internally the cottage, which is hundreds of years old, has been renovated to provide a very comfortable holiday home filled with tradition and character as well as all the important mod cons one would need to make a cottage relaxing. The cottage is lovingly cared for to a meticulous standard by the owners and also has the benefit of a large garden with plenty of off street parking. Set in the grounds of the owner's home, the property is a spacious home furnished in a traditional and homely style to complement the cottage's overall feel. The cottage enjoys a view towards the village's 'green' and hills beyond. The property also benefits from its own private courtyard which is ideal for 'sundowners'! Within Milton (and its neighbouring village Shipton under Wychwood) there are good shops, pubs and a library with internet access all within reasonable walking distance. The cottage is also conveniently located as it is only three miles north of Burford aswell as other Cotswolds' attractions. Accommodation overview: Charlie's Cottage is a wonderful mix of old and new and if you are looking for the quintessenital English Country Cottage you need look no further. This lovely, cosy thatched cottage, which dates back to the Civil War era of the 1650s', has so much charm inside that we simply fell in love with it when we inspected it. Situated in a very quiet location within one of the northern Cotswolds most beautiful villages - Epwell, the cottage enjoys real tranquility and yet great access to the surrounding countryside. The village pub is sure to be a real appeal to those who enjoy the idea of a 'local pint', while the adventure playground is a firm favourite with the children. Situated between Stow on the Wold, Chipping Norton and Burford, this is true Cotswolds Country. it is an unspoilt village with a large open green and some elegant stone and thatch cottages mostly dating from the 17th and 18th centuries. It is situated in the Evenlode valley in Oxfordshire, England and is a short drive from the more well known town of Chipping Norton. It is a thriving village with a good sense of community. As well as the pubs there is a good village store and an attractive church. The village is unique amongst Cotswold villages, because it is served by a main line railway station about a mile from the village, the mainline railway station provides regular services to London with services operated by First Great Western Link. Of particular note is the The Kingham Plough which is a quintessential Cotswold Inn and has an outstanding restaurant. According to AA Gill: "The kitchen is a serious restaurant workplace. The bar menu is as fine as any I've seen...anyone thinking of opening a local pub restaurant should come here and see the gold standard." (AA Gill writing in the Sunday Times). Otherwise nearby are Stow on the Wold and Burford, with Oxford, Stratford upon Avon and Bath all within a reasonable drive
