Accommodation overview: Rose Cottage is a very sweet and traditional Cotswold cottage located in one of the region's most attractive villages. The property, which is Seventeenth Century and Grade II listed, has a history that describes it as once belonging to the 'Village Alehouse Keeper'! Today it is has a very welcoming feel with many period features including a large and beautiful inglenook fireplace which is simply gorgeous and oak beams - all very romantic! The cottage is well equipped and also enjoys a very large garden overlooking fields beyond. Even though the property is ideal for two people, there is a second bedroom with a potential two extra beds* which would be suitable for one or two children - there is plenty of seating downstairs. Accommodation overview: Ryeworth Cottage, Kingham is an exceptional Cotswold Holiday Cottage set in one of the areas most desirable and attractive villages, roughly equi-distant between Burford and Chipping Norton. The village has everything you could want for a Cotswolds' break, including award winning pubs and a comprehensive local store. It has many excellent walks surrounding it, but perhaps of great appeal to some is the convenience of the Daylesford Organic (described in The Telegraph as 'the UK's poshest shop'!!) The cottage, which is semi detached, is a simply stunning holiday home spread across four floors with spacious rooms throughout. The large welcoming living space, plus the three bathrooms (for three bedrooms) make this a thoroughly attractive option. However and perhaps most amazing, if this is possible, is the swimming pool and steam room (Turkish Hammam) which are of the highest quality and for guests' use. In addition and on request, is a tennis court. This holiday cottage really has it all and is suitable for customers who expect the very best in self catering accommodation. Jasmine Cottage is a beautiful 300-year-old Cotswold stone cottage nestled in the the quiet, unspoilt village of Windrush. Surrounded by National Trust land, there are numerous walks in the stunning Windrush valley leading to water meadows and idyllic villages. Wildlife and birds are abundant and you will often see foxes, badgers, hares, deer and many beautiful species of birds and wildflowers. It is a perfect cottage to relax by the fire and unwind.
If you desire to find culture and shopping, Oxford and Cheltenham are approximately 20 miles away. The famous and historic market town of Burford is four miles west of Windrush and hosts an abundance of interesting shops and boutiques as well as some excellent pubs and restaurants. It also can be accessed by a four mile cycle trail along the Windrush valley.
The historic Fox Inn is situated on the river and is a 20-minute stroll across the fields where you can enjoy excellent food. The Inn for All Seasons is a 20-minute walk across fields and serves outstanding food and wines. The National Trust village of Sherborne is a two mile ramble along the valley. The outstanding Sherborne Village Shop and Tearooms serve excellent breakfasts, lunches and delicious homemade cakes. The deli is exceptional and you can find an amazing selection of goodies for your larder. Bibury, Coln St Aldwyns, Stow-on-the-Wold and Bourton-on-the-Water are all within the local area. Bath and Stratford-upon-Avon are within an hour's drive.

Detached from the main village in a peaceful and secluded valley surrounded by oak trees, Little Barn is a popular holiday cottage which has been converted to a high specification. Exposed beams and solid pine doors and furniture, with flagstone floors downstairs and fitted carpets upstairs create a rich, cosy property with a welcoming ambience. From the cottage, there is a large secure courtyard facing south with large pots of flowers and garden furniture. Ascott is a small peaceful hamlet about half a mile beyond Whichford.
