The property, which is attached to The Apple Store, has undergone a complete renovation and provides a superb standard of self catering accommodation with careful attention given to little details which will make your stay enjoyable. Naturally the layout and furnishings are both 'contemporary' and luxurious with the open plan living space downstairs a particularly appealing feature. The Daylesford Farmstore is about 50 yards away with an endless amount of high quality foods, you can even book yourself on a 'Learn to Farm' or a 'Learn to Cook' course!! Accommodation overview: Little Barn, ETB 4 stars, is a wonderful renovated stone barn which faces South overlooking farm fields. Detached from the main village in a peaceful and secluded valley surrounded by oak trees, Little Barn is a popular holiday cottage which has been converted to a high specification. Exposed beams and solid pine doors and furniture, with flagstone floors downstairs and fitted carpets upstairs create a rich, cosy property with a welcoming ambience. From the cottage, there is a large secure courtyard facing south with large pots of flowers and garden furniture. Ascott is a small peaceful hamlet about half a mile beyond Whichford. The Mill Stream runs beneath the courtyard and the apartment has a small balcony overlooking a wonderful view of the stream and the surrounding woodland. It is a very peaceful location yet only 5 minutes from Burford town centre, with its shops, pubs and restaurants. From the apartment there is a delightful 3 mile walk along the edge of the River Windrush to the neighbouring village of Swinbrook.
