Accommodation overview: Talbot Cottage is a very high standard of self catering accommodation, situated in the heart of Stow on the Wold. The property, which has been within the same family for generations, has been carefully renovated with a real attention to detail and a delightful art deco 'twist' maikng it unique and very appealing. Many of the original features such as the wooden floors have been beautifully retained. The accommodation, which is detached and across two floors is both spacious and cosy at the same time and overlooks the garden in all directions. Outside is a large garden with ample off street parking. Accommodation overview: The Den, a converted barn on Shaken Oak Farm, is a wonderful holiday cottage for those who wish to get away from it all and recharge the batteries. Situated in the original Wychwood Forest - a Royal hunting ground - The Den is in a truly tranquil setting, amongst fields and woods, and yet close to Woodstock and the famous Blenheim Palace as well as Oxford. The property is well cared for by the owners and is an ideal 'bolt-hole' to relax peacefully. There are many excellent walks all around and yet you are conveniently located for a wide selection of Cotswolds locations. The local pub, The Royal Oak at Ramsden which was voted the Good Pub Guide's Country Pub of the Year 2011, is just a mile away - a delightful stroll through the woods and fields. We as well as everyone else highly recommend this pub! ACCOMMODATION: (all on one level )French windows lead into the Sitting / Dining / Kitchen area. Useful facilities include digital TV with DVD player, CD & digital radio, dining table and chairs. Kitchen is well equipped with electric cooker, microwave, washer/dryer, fridge with ice compartment. Double Bedroom has a double bed, along with fitted cupboards. Bathroom with bath, shower in the bath, WC and wash basin.OutsideThere is an enclosed garden to the south of the cottage. Guests are also welcome to explore the farm's grounds, including a circular walk through the orchard and trees. The friendly owners, who live next door in their listed farmhouse, are wonderful hosts and would be happy to supply eggs, seasonal vegetables, home-made bread and their award winning mustards and preserves. Accommodation overview: The Stables at Edgerly Farm is a very sweet and cosy holiday property set in an extremely peaceful location within the Oxfordshire Cotswolds. The farm is located at the end of a long drive and is the set of buildings for miles, with only fields surrounding. The property has been converted from part of the stables and provides very comfortable accommodation for two people. The accommodation, which is upstairs, is mainly open plan with a separate bedroom/ensuite and has all the modern facilities to make your self cateing holiday a very relaxing one. Our visit was only interrupted by the sound of tweeting birds, swallows and the odd horse, so a rural retreat this most certainly is. Superb value and perfect for getting away from life's 'hustle and bustle. Village pub in Clanfield is approx 1mile level walk.ACCOMMODATION. Accommodation overview: The Haven is a super single storey holiday cottage which has undergone renovation to create a welcoming property suitable for families wishing to enjoy a relaxing break. Originally part of a 14th Century farm, the cottage, which is semi detached, is light and spacious with far reaching views across the Cotswold countryside. Set within the conservation village of Shipton under Wychwood, there are great walks and country pubs, such as The Lamb close by. The property retains original beams and stone walls, and now has beech floors throughout along with mod cons such as a power shower, dishwasher and TV. The property is moments from the High Street and Market Square with their amenities and shops, making it excellent spot from which to enjoy this classic Cotswolds' town.
