Accommodation overview: Foxhill Barn Cottage is super cottage located very near to the centre of the Cotswold Hills, just outside the pretty village of Naunton, itself a short drive from Stow on the Wold. Surrounded by fields this attractive holiday cottage is a good choice for people who are interested in sampling traditional Cotswold countryside... Internally the cottage, formerly a barn, has been converted to create a very comfortable two bedroom self catering home, packed with period features including oak beams and mullion windows, yet with many modern conveniences. The two large bedrooms also enjoy private Ensuite bathrooms. Externally, it enjoys great views across the open countryside as well as a large garden. This homely cottage is ideal for those who plan to either sit and relax (and do nothing!) other than the odd stroll to the village pub or use it as a base for touring the Cotswolds region. LocationThe cottage is set just outside the village of Naunton, which is approximately 15 min walk away. Naunton itself is a delightful village set in the valley packed with countless classic country cottages and a popular local pub. There are endless walks literally from your cottage door in all directions with many other traditional villages (and pubs!) to explore. Nearby is Stow on the Wold (approx 4 miles) a popular Cotswolds market town with many antique shops, restaurants and cafes as well as other amenities to choose from. Cheltenham is very near by also. Slightly further afield are many other Cotswolds hotspots including Burford, Bourton on the Water, Woodstock and Cirencester along with many attractions. Of particular interest is the Cotswold Farm Park which is very close by.

The property is presented to a very high standard (the owners own another property with Manor Cottages which is both a very high standard and also very popular with customers) with up to six bedrooms and four bathrooms available. Internally the property retains many period features along with countless contemporary touches to give this a real high quality, minimalist feel. An element that particularly appealled to us was the large ground floor which has the feeling of being 'open plan' but actually has separate 'rooms'! The property is moments from the High Street and Market Square with their amenities and shops, making it excellent spot from which to enjoy this classic Cotswolds' town. The apartment is presented in an airy style, with the huge mullion window dominating the living space, throwing light into the property! Outside, there is a small sunny garden to the side which is perfect for relaxing. In our opinion this is a lovely location with space and convenience the major benefits. Within 30 minutes you have access to Blenheim Palace the stunning world heritage site which offers a fabulous day out with regular special events Cotswold Wildlife Park and the pretty town of Burford and the Bronze Age White Horse of Uffington on the Ridgeway. Other days out include Bath Swindon Outlet Designer Mall and the popular local farm shop is located a couple of miles away. Accommodation overview: Rectory Cottage, Alvescot is a truly classic Cotswolds cottage built in traditional stone under a Cotswold tile roof, but presented in a beautifully cool and contemporary style that makes it a stunning option for groups or families of up to 10 people. Set overlooking fields and surrounded by period Cotswold properties this delightful holiday cottage offers a very high standard of self catering accommodation. Internally, the owners have created a stunning home, which while contemporary it retains a wealth of period features that give a real sense of warmth and 'welcome'. The accommodation, which is set over three floors and with good size rooms throughout, has many period features through out. Including flagstone flooring, beams and mullion windows but of particular appeal is the kitchen which is, as they say, 'where the heart is': a gorgeous light room with a vaulted ceiling and Aga. When we visited the property we came away with the wow factor very much in our minds, we're confident that you'll feel just the same when you walk through the door too! Standing in a sheltered and truly tranquil setting on the mill stream at the end of a country lane, Mill Holm is for those who enjoy 'to get away from it all'!Mill Holm can be booked with Mill Flat and combined is comfortable accommodation for 6 people. Accommodation overview: Lane Farm House in Shipton under Wychwood is a very large house set in the midst of the lovely village of Shipton under Wychwood. A 14th Century rambling farmhouse, with accommodation for 16 people, with potential space for more if required. Internally the property is presented in a traditional and basic style with large living space ideal for party get-togethers. The property is clean and welcoming and is certainly very good value for money given the size of the accommodation. There is the ability to take additional beds within the bedrooms (to exceed 16 people) and all bedrooms can be single beds or double, although we would like to add that the seating and dining seating will be tight! The enormous main kitchen has granite tops, an Aga and large dining table. Nice and bright sitting room with a wood burning stove, (logs available), lots of bedrooms each very individual, and 'Eagles Nest' at the top of the house.
