Accommodation overview: Ryeworth Cottage, Kingham is an exceptional Cotswold Holiday Cottage set in one of the areas most desirable and attractive villages, roughly equi-distant between Burford and Chipping Norton. The village has everything you could want for a Cotswolds' break, including award winning pubs and a comprehensive local store. It has many excellent walks surrounding it, but perhaps of great appeal to some is the convenience of the Daylesford Organic (described in The Telegraph as 'the UK's poshest shop'!!) The cottage, which is semi detached, is a simply stunning holiday home spread across four floors with spacious rooms throughout. The large welcoming living space, plus the three bathrooms (for three bedrooms) make this a thoroughly attractive option. However and perhaps most amazing, if this is possible, is the swimming pool and steam room (Turkish Hammam) which are of the highest quality and for guests' use. In addition and on request, is a tennis court. This holiday cottage really has it all and is suitable for customers who expect the very best in self catering accommodation. Accommodation overview: Landgate Cottage is a well located holiday cottage situated moments from the Market Square in Stow. The cottage is a very good size for four people, but has the advantage of an extra bed if a fifth person wishes to travel*. The living room is particularly attractive with great views across the well tended (but of course!) allotments and fields beyond. The cottage also has two bathrooms which also make it suitable for two couples just as much for a family. The property is well placed for walking, but for the more adventurous, there are a host of attractions to choose from including Blenheim Palace at Woodstock (10 miles), Oxford, (20 miles), Warwick Castle (20 miles) Stratford upon Avon (20 miles) and many other locations within the Cotswolds. Accommodation overview: The Den, a converted barn on Shaken Oak Farm, is a wonderful holiday cottage for those who wish to get away from it all and recharge the batteries. Situated in the original Wychwood Forest - a Royal hunting ground - The Den is in a truly tranquil setting, amongst fields and woods, and yet close to Woodstock and the famous Blenheim Palace as well as Oxford. The property is well cared for by the owners and is an ideal 'bolt-hole' to relax peacefully. There are many excellent walks all around and yet you are conveniently located for a wide selection of Cotswolds locations. The local pub, The Royal Oak at Ramsden which was voted the Good Pub Guide's Country Pub of the Year 2011, is just a mile away - a delightful stroll through the woods and fields. We as well as everyone else highly recommend this pub! ACCOMMODATION: (all on one level )French windows lead into the Sitting / Dining / Kitchen area. Useful facilities include digital TV with DVD player, CD & digital radio, dining table and chairs. Kitchen is well equipped with electric cooker, microwave, washer/dryer, fridge with ice compartment. A 14th Century rambling farmhouse, with accommodation for 16 people, with potential space for more if required. Internally the property is presented in a traditional and basic style with large living space ideal for party get-togethers. The property is clean and welcoming and is certainly very good value for money given the size of the accommodation. There is the ability to take additional beds within the bedrooms (to exceed 16 people) and all bedrooms can be single beds or double, although we would like to add that the seating and dining seating will be tight! The enormous main kitchen has granite tops, an Aga and large dining table. Nice and bright sitting room with a wood burning stove, (logs available), lots of bedrooms each very individual, and 'Eagles Nest' at the top of the house.
