Accommodation overview: Granary Cottage, Swerford, is a delightful Cotswolds holiday cottage, located just outside an absolutely quintessential village, itself approximately five miles from the bustling market town of Chipping Norton. The property, which is attached to the owner's fabulous home, sits in a wonderful location, surrounded by completely unspoilt countryside and the large grounds of the farm (not working!) Internally, the cottage is furnished with some lovely antiques which give a lovely warm and welcoming feel when you walk in. Rooms are spacious and very comfortable and ideal for relaxing and recharging the batteries! ACCOMMODATION (all on one level, although not wheelchair friendly)Entrance through to dining areaDining Room with lovely table and four chairs, plus various pieces of attractive furniture. Access to private and enclosed gardenKitchen, well equipped with electric hob and oven, dishwasher, microwave, large fridge / freezer and washing machine. This accessed through Granary Cottage, but is separate from the main cottage, please ask to explain more! This is charged at £100 per person per week or £50 per person per weekend.OutsideTo the rear of the property is a private, enclosed garden with table and chairs. Swerford is a picture postcard village set in the northern Cotswolds, a few miles from the famous Hook Norton village (famous for its award winning local brewery) and a short drive from the Cotswolds' highest town - Chipping Norton. The property is well placed for walking, but for the more adventurous, there are a host of attractions to choose from including Blenheim Palace at Woodstock (10 miles), Oxford, (20 miles), Warwick Castle (20 miles) Stratford upon Avon (20 miles) and many other locations within the Cotswolds. Accommodation overview: The Haven is a super single storey holiday cottage which has undergone renovation to create a welcoming property suitable for families wishing to enjoy a relaxing break. Originally part of a 14th Century farm, the cottage, which is semi detached, is light and spacious with far reaching views across the Cotswold countryside. Set within the conservation village of Shipton under Wychwood, there are great walks and country pubs, such as The Lamb close by. The property retains original beams and stone walls, and now has beech floors throughout along with mod cons such as a power shower, dishwasher and TV. The views of the Cotswold Hills offer fantastic sunsets which can be enjoyed either privately within your own garden space or anywhere within the 11 acres of grounds.Please note: Full week bookings only during July & AugustACCOMMODATION - all on one level (except for three steps)Entrance into Kitchen / Dining / Living room, with dining table for 6 people, including dishwasher, fridge freezer, washing machine and dryer, gas hob with oven and microwave. The village has a weekend farm shop which sells good quality local produce. The cottage is totally detached down a quiet track with off-street parking and a wonderful private garden. Inside, the cottage really is a haven of olde England, boasting antique furniture, period beams, an open fire in the sitting room with many books and an ever popular AGA. In our opinion this cottage offers good value for money in a truly idyllic spot!Get local, organic food delivered to your door including vegetables, eggs, ice cream, yoghurt, home made bread and cakes and ready prepared home made meals!
