Accommodation overview: Primrose Cottage is an excellent holiday cottage that has recently been completely refurbished. Once part of an old school, the cottage offers spacious accommodation of a very high standard, set within a beautiful 'pocket' of the Cotswolds. Internally, the property offers both comfort and an attention to detail which is sure to make your stay an enjoyable one. Locally, there is Wychwood Golf Club, which has a Freehouse serving good food all day to both players and non-players.(*below.) Outside, there is a lovely sitting area with beautiful views across the countryside and village. A truly wonderful part of the Cotswolds! Surrounded by fields this attractive holiday cottage is a good choice for people who are interested in sampling traditional Cotswold countryside... Internally the cottage, formerly a barn, has been converted to create a very comfortable two bedroom self catering home, packed with period features including oak beams and mullion windows, yet with many modern conveniences. The two large bedrooms also enjoy private Ensuite bathrooms. Externally, it enjoys great views across the open countryside as well as a large garden. This homely cottage is ideal for those who plan to either sit and relax (and do nothing!) other than the odd stroll to the village pub or use it as a base for touring the Cotswolds region. There are endless walks literally from your cottage door in all directions with many other traditional villages (and pubs!) to explore. Nearby is Stow on the Wold (approx 4 miles) a popular Cotswolds market town with many antique shops, restaurants and cafes as well as other amenities to choose from. Cheltenham is very near by also. Slightly further afield are many other Cotswolds hotspots including Burford, Bourton on the Water, Woodstock and Cirencester along with many attractions. Of particular interest is the Cotswold Farm Park which is very close by.
