The pretty boutique shopping town of Narberth is 3 miles away not forgetting the pretty seaside harbour town of Tenby which is 12 miles. Saundersfoot is 11 miles with beautiful sandy beaches and the Pembrokeshire National Park stretches in both directions or why not explore the local castle ruins at Llawhaden. The comfortable accommodation has TWO bedrooms: 1 king-size double and 1 twin. Bathroom: with shower over bath and WC. Additional downstairs WC. Lounge: seating area with TV DVD and woodburner. Kitchen: with electric cooker microwave washing machine and fridge. Dining room: table chairs piano and secluded freezer. The garden wall is also the sea wall. In summertime there are many sailing boats on the bay and in wintertime the boats leave and are replaced by an outstanding array of wildlife.
There are several good places to eat locally, including The Tavern at St Davids Park, the Old Boathouse on Red Wharf Bay and a little further afield The White Eagle at Rhoscollyn is a particular favourite. Ye Olde Bull at Beaumaris with both a brasserie and fine dining restaurant is also popular. Good Chinese and Indian take-away is also available locally.
