Accommodation overview: This former farm workers cottage dating back over 250 years has been sympathetically restored to offer cosy and characterful accommodation location at the foot of Blencathra, 5 miles from Keswick. Threlkeld is steeped in history with its church dating back to 1573 and its two pubs back to 1688.The pubs serve good food and real ale and are only a few minutes walk from the cottage. Blease Cottage is an ideal location to enjoy the peaceful countryside with its many walks from the door, as well as golf and cycling opportunities.There is walking from the cottage to suit all, a level railway path into Keswick, walks on the fells around the village and more challenging walks up onto Blencathra and Skiddaw. Accommodation overview: Bracken Howe enjoys the most glorious views from Grisedale Pike to the Skiddaw range, with glimpses of Bassenthwaite Lake from its elevated position in the village of Portinscale. This semi detached house has views from most rooms and was completely renovated and refurbished in 2009 to an extremely high standard. The level of facilities and equippment and the quality of furnishings will appeal to the most discering guests. Portinscale lies on the northern edge of Derwentwater. Hause Hall Farm and The Cruik Barn are located part way up Hallin Fell at the south end of Ullswater in Martindale. They offer spectacular views over the fells and up into the hidden valleys of this secluded area of the LakeDistrict. Famous local author and fell walker A W Wainwrightdescribed the Ullswater lakeside walk which starts just at the baseof Hallin Fell as "the most beautiful and rewarding in Lakeland."
Hause Hall farmstead extends over several traditional lakeland stone buildings including the Grade II listed five bedroom, five bathroomfarmhouse and the adjoining two bedroom, two bathroom Cruik Barnwhich are linked across a traditional paved stone terrace. HauseHall's guest comforts are assured with its cast iron open fireplaces,four oven aga, high speed satellite broadband, oak kitchen and modernluxury bathrooms.

Accommodation overview: Taking its name from the rather steep area of woodland near where it sits, Breasty Haw is a wonderful example of a traditional, detached Lakeland cottage. The setting is idyllic as not only does Breasty Haw enjoy fine views across the valley but the house is situated in the middle of its own acre of mature woodland for guests to explore. With Grizedale Forest and ample walks and cycling routes right from the doorstep, Satterthwaite is an ideal base for an activity based holiday with the kids although the area also has some wonderful, gentle walks for those who prefer a quieter pace and some rest and relaxation.
