Situated in the peaceful grounds of the Old Vicarage, Apple Tree Cottage features open countryside views to the rear enclosed garden, access to the two acre woodland and the tranquil landscaped Victorian communal walled garden to the front. Feel yourself relax with the sound of the trees rustling in the wind, while watching the horses graze in the pastures to the rear of the property. You are cast back in time, with the occasional toot of the Wells to Walsingham steam train or the choral music drifting over from the village.
Just a short pleasant walk to the village that offers a public house, post office, village shop, cafes, renowned farm shop complex along with the award winning Norfolk Riddle rRestaurant and adjoining fish and chip shop.
Walsingham offers excellent walking and cycling routes whilst only a 10 minute drive to the beaches of Wells and Holkham, which was voted Britain's best beach in the 2009 Coast Awards and famously a scene ofShakespeare in Love. It is a short drive to the seal trips from Blakeney, the shopping at Holt and Burnham Market or the numerous RSPB nature reserves.

Accommodation overview: End Cottage is a charming Grade II listed Georgian brick and flint cottage, close to all amenities within the historic village of Little Walsingham Little and Great Walsingham lie only a mile apart by the River Stiffkey. Their names are confusing as Little Walsingham is the larger of the two villages and has been a centre of pilgrimage since the 11th century with both Catholic and Anglican shrines. Nearby Great Walsingham is set in the countryside, providing both excellent walking and cycling. The sandy beach at Wells is approximately five miles away. Great Walsingham has a craft centre, with tea-room, whilst Little Walsingham has a number of shops, including an award winning farm shop as well as pubs/restaurants. End Cottage is a charming Grade II listed Georgian brick and flint cottage, which has been restored to a high standard.
