The Norfolk Broads are an easy drive, where you can enjoy a river cruise or hire a boat by the day. Within a thirty minute drive, you can enjoy North Norfolk and its wide sandy beaches. The cathedral city of Norwich with all its cultural attractions and shopping opportunities is approximately fifteen minutes by car. Norfolk abounds with National Trust properties with Blickling, Felbrigg and Sheringham Park being the closest. For those who appreciate natural attractions, the thirty five acres of Alderford common is an Area of Special Scientific Interest and is almost on the doorstep.
