Accommodation overview: Woodside Cottage is set in beautiful countryside between the villages of Thurgarton and Sustead. It is a Victorian brick cottage set in a large, secluded garden with views over the surrounding farmland.

Thurgarton is situated in rural North Norfolk where the countryside is criss-crossed with quiet lanes for riding a horse or bicycle, and walkers can enjoy the nearby Weavers Way. It is a perfect location for a get-away-from-it-all holiday yet still offers easy access to all of Norfolk's attractions. The traditional seaside resorts of Sheringham and Cromer with their sandy beaches and rock pools are approximately six miles away, or a little further west is the enormous stretch of sand and dunes at Holkham Bay. There are several National Trust properties to visit and Norwich boasts a fine cathedral as well as restaurants, theatres and galleries. The meandering waterways of the Norfolk Broads are only a short drive away.
