Thurgarton is situated in rural North Norfolk where the countryside is criss-crossed with quiet lanes for riding a horse or bicycle, and walkers can enjoy the nearby Weavers Way. It is a perfect location for a get-away-from-it-all holiday yet still offers easy access to all of Norfolk's attractions. The traditional seaside resorts of Sheringham and Cromer with their sandy beaches and rock pools are approximately six miles away, or a little further west is the enormous stretch of sand and dunes at Holkham Bay.
