Accommodation overview: Shepherd's Cottage is a wonderfully located Cotswold holiday cottage, situated in some glorious countryside and enjoying excellent views across the Cotswolds. Formerly a farm worker's cottage the cottage offers an excellent living space ideal for holidays. Situated at the end of a very quiet lane and surrounded by fields, the property is perfect for peace and tranquility and yet is within minutes drive of Burford and other popular Cotswold destinations. Accommodation overview: Lane Farm House in Shipton under Wychwood is a very large house set in the midst of the lovely village of Shipton under Wychwood. A 14th Century rambling farmhouse, with accommodation for 16 people, with potential space for more if required. Internally the property is presented in a traditional and basic style with large living space ideal for party get-togethers. The property is clean and welcoming and is certainly very good value for money given the size of the accommodation. There is the ability to take additional beds within the bedrooms (to exceed 16 people) and all bedrooms can be single beds or double, although we would like to add that the seating and dining seating will be tight! The enormous main kitchen has granite tops, an Aga and large dining table. Nice and bright sitting room with a wood burning stove, (logs available), lots of bedrooms each very individual, and 'Eagles Nest' at the top of the house. Accommodation overview: The Haven is a super single storey holiday cottage which has undergone renovation to create a welcoming property suitable for families wishing to enjoy a relaxing break. Originally part of a 14th Century farm, the cottage, which is semi detached, is light and spacious with far reaching views across the Cotswold countryside. Set within the conservation village of Shipton under Wychwood, there are great walks and country pubs, such as The Lamb close by. The property retains original beams and stone walls, and now has beech floors throughout along with mod cons such as a power shower, dishwasher and TV. The views of the Cotswold Hills offer fantastic sunsets which can be enjoyed either privately within your own garden space or anywhere within the 11 acres of grounds.Please note: Full week bookings only during July & AugustACCOMMODATION - all on one level (except for three steps)Entrance into Kitchen / Dining / Living room, with dining table for 6 people, including dishwasher, fridge freezer, washing machine and dryer, gas hob with oven and microwave. Golf, fishing and riding are all within 5 miles of the cottage.
